Gathering pieces for my birthday lantern.

 

Circa 1967 underground elbow/termination. 200 amp rated, non load-break. Sort of cool, at least for me. I added another photo to show how the elbow was applied. Ugly but effective for its day.

Here we are fixin' to hike into rendezvous...it was a five mile hike.
Along the way we stopped and talked to a lot of folks , about the gear and such that we had.
A fun time was had by all...I am the one in the red cap.

Muscadine grapes. Picked a half a pound and spoiled my supper. They sure are sweet, and without the finger blight I had last year, plentiful.

 

they make great sweet wine, are you brewing this year? @hot diggity

 

I'm just eating, although I do freeze a few pounds to put in wine... so as not to dilute it with ice. The fruit doesn't have time to absorb the wine taste, at least the way I drink it, but the sweet frozen grapes compliment most of the Duplin County wines I've tried them in. A nice drink to enjoy under the vines, in front of a fire.

 

This was just the beginning. Next time I have body harness that needs to be replaced I'll get a volunteer the way I used to in the Marine Corps.

"Who wants to go fishing today?" The first guy that raises his paw gets to fish the wires through the firewall, the floor under the third row seat, up under both rocker panels, under the rear bumper, above the headliner and under both tail lights.

Looks like you’ve got a job ahead of you. As far as fishing,, ya had me excited for a second,, but I am going fishing today,, but it will be with hook, lines , sinkers and worms. The perks of being self employed,, no one to make excuses to.

Nice! Is that 50-60 year old cloth insulation on the heavier cables?

 

^^^^It’s not cloth but old old. Lots going on in there. In and out single phase primary. 3 phase same without terminations. All open concentric cable meaning no jacket.
