    Trailer is done, today I started cutting 2x4's for my 16'x14' tent platform, just a few more cuts to do tomorrow. I may start a thread soon as it is only a few days til my new life begins.

    Yeah baby. A friend and I just took a 30 mile road test, mostly interstate, loaded up with all the PT plywood and 2x4's for my tent platform. The trailer followed along beautifully, no issues whatsoever and most of the time you didn't know it was there. We stopped by the scales while we were out and she weighed in at 2160 lbs wit 7 sheets of 3/4" PT plywood and almost 40 PT 2x4's.. Not bad at all. I would have liked to have weighed it unloaded but I was too lazy to unload all that PT .I am pleased at this number I can easily put another 2K lbs. on the trailer but I don't have near that much more to put on for the trip.

    Remember, if it rains and the wood is not covered then you will have to assume a lot more weight from absorbed water.

    Bacon just came off the smoker after 7 hours. Little torqued that I didn't notice two were overlapping each other a bit. Oh well, still be good. Back two are sweet jalapeno habanero. Front left is maple brown sugar cinnamon, front right is blackstrap molasses and black pepper. Will get them sliced up tonight.
