Thinly sliced potatoes on the Blackstone, then zucchini/squash/onions, followed by cubed chicken breast.
HAH here , Salad /cuke /cheese/tomato / on oil and balsamic vinegar sourdough for the kick . last meal is always light
Breaded pork chops and apple sauce, with some sauteed veggies (yellow squash, zucchini, bell pepper, onion, tomato and asparagus all from the garden), plus some Jasmine rice.
I had some leftover pork chops that I haven't cooked yet. I had a bit of nostalgia today when I was talking to my sister. As Italians, the whole family use to go over my grandfathers (Papa) house every Thursday night for dinner. It was tradition. He'd make pasta's of damn near every kind, sea food, and any given Italian dish you can think of. But, there was this, sort of, corn meal dish that my sister and I couldn't remember what the heck it was. It was our favorite dish. But, we were young. So, while I was on the phone with her I googled "corn meal Italian recipes". As soon as I seen it, I knew exactly what it was. But, I played it off like I really remembered the name of it. I said, "Oh, I know what it was! It was Polenta!" But she said, "You cheated, you prick. I heard you typing!" Anyhow.. This is what I'm gonna make, except with chops (instead of ribs) and sausage: Traditional Polenta: https://anitalianinmykitchen.com/traditional-polenta/ I hope it tastes like I remembered.
