No.. Not cheap, but if you cost it out with in a small group of like minded people..... How often will you need to replace those cans.. I mean, once bought and sealed, they are put away with the goods in them.
I agree on the cost, I think that for me right now a good Vacuum sealer will have to suffice, next I want to add a pressure canner and then possibly a metal canner. Of course thats not the case for everyone, I sure wish I could seal-up some ammo in #10 cans, or even paint cans and put pain labels on them (when did you ever hear of neighbors stealing paint from a garage? Besides PM the value of ammo has gone so crazy my previous stockpile seems like a great investment, even underdone.
If it's cammo paint, watch out!! Good plan going.. A pressure canner would serve you more.. Stock up on those Tatler lids....
