Every day is a good 'ol Swiss army and a titanium Buck folder. I'm old fashioned so the fixed blades are my Father's old Gerber MKI and MKII. Straped to my pack is a Cold Steel Trailmaster Bowie.
I won't go anywhere without a Wave tool... and when on a dirtbike, there's also a Crunch tool in it's toolkit EDC knife CRKT Apache. I teach the blade
Where I am right now, the State denies me the right to self defense and has no reciprocity with my home State. So, I carry my Benchmade Steirer Eisen lock back every day.
I've got a Gerber Mini Paraframe clipped into my front pocket all the time. Great little knife, been through the wash countless times, since I forget it's there when I throw my jeans in the washing machine! Out in the Jeep, I've got my GHB, with a couple inexpensive (but sharpened) stickers, and the window smasher/seat belt cutter knife in the little elesticized mesh bag, in front of the stick shift. Figure even if I rolled over, it would still be there.
I have been carrying a leatherman multi tool and an Old Timer Trapper with a saw blade and hollow ground cutting blade.
I've opted for light and small lately. Spyderco Byrd Robin 2 which has 8cr13mov steel. I removed the pocket clip so I can just throw it in my pocket and not even think about it.
I carry an Ontario RAT-1 folder and when I can carry my fixed blade it's a Ka-bar Becker BK-16 with wood grips and all the black crap stripped off and replaced with a nice patina.
I wear an ESEE IZULA as a neck knife 24/7/365, and yes that includes sleeping and showering. At any given time I own 5 or 6 (kept in the safe just in case someone at ESEE goes crazy and drops them from the lineup ). I've worn the one I now use for over two years. Just keep it oiled, and sharpened and no problems.
I made the pouch to hold a various assortment of tools I have . The knife is a Mil spec surgical steel blade completely expendable but functional tool. the flash light is an adjustable beam enercel 2 AA LED ,strong functional and expendable. and lastly my remote for the truck and the cell phone . The swiss army with the marlin spike modification is the one I keep on me most of the time. This locking plyer Kershaw stays in my bag along with other tools.
