What are you listening to? (ongoing participation thread)

Back in the late 60s , early 70s ,, I had an old suitcase record player ,, I don't remember where I got it ,,,,, but , I think it was my Dads ,, now ,, I think he let me have it , because if I was spinnin' records on it ,, I wasn't out getting into trouble .
But my Grandma,, Dads mom ,,, had a subscription to Columbia records ,, she had boxes of 45's ,,, mixed with a few 78's ,,,, when we made the 5 hour trip in the old 3 seater station wagon ,, I'd be in the back ,, totin' that record player , and when we got there ,, I'd sit for hours playing them old records , picking out the ones I liked ,, and she'd let me heve'em . I wish I had them old boxes now ,, there was a lot of stuff in there that I didn't care for then , but would love to.have them now ,,, and your pick of Mojo Collins , "Carolina Traditions " , sure hit home ,, spinnin' them records in the back room of that old hundred year old home ,, on the edge of grandpas Tobacco fields .
Just the pic of that old Columbia record brought back them old memories ,, Thank ya HD ,,, keep on postin' them memories ,,,
