I believe the report ended saying that he fired approx. 800 rounds in 11 minutes.

Considering I have run an AR in semiauto only, 420 rounds (14 30 round magazines) with mag changes in just over 2 minutes, its not unrealistic for him to have done all the shooting in semiauto. He had several ARs and larger capacity magazines.

 

He's got better rhythm than the Pointer Sisters, then.

 

Except it sounds like hundreds of rounds being fired at a time and sounded a hell of a lot like an m240.
