Warmth in the winter, shade in the summer. What could be wrong with that?

 

One is a huge money maker the other is cheap and been around longer than most of us.
The government has a history of throwing out and forgetting about the old effective treatments and pushing full force with new treatments that do appear to be better and will just so happen to make a bunch of people really rich.
Like when antibiotics were discovered silver therapies were completely thrown out and forgotten about. One place silver beats antibiotics is on burns I have seen it my self. I was not a believer until I saw it in action.

I'm surprised that Santa Clause hasn't made the holy trinity of conservative beat up upon personalities....oh wait, the war on Chistmas is just about half past Bill Donohue.

Twitter blasted as 'national security threat'
The hacking of dozens of Twitter accounts of high-profile personalities, including Barack Obama and Joe Biden, shows the social-media giant poses a "national security risk, " the Washington Examiner said in an editorial Monday.

"Over the past few years, Twitter has coarsened the political discourse, aided outrage mobs, exposed the bias and ignorance of many media figures, and provided a forum for a president to vent his unfiltered thoughts. But the social media platform is increasingly turning into something much worse — a national security risk," the paper said.

Earlier this month, scammers accessed about 45 accounts, including those of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Elon Musk, promoting a scheme in which people were offered double their money.

Twitter described the hack as a "social engineering scheme" in which Twitter employees were manipulated, allowing the hackers to gain access to their credentials, which were then used to access the accounts. In as many as 36 cases, the Examiner said, the hackers accessed users' private communications with other users, known as direct messages. One was the account of an elected official in the Netherlands.

The popular translation app Google Translate listed "a police officer" as the primary definition of "demon."

The secondary definition of demon, Breitbart News reported, is “an evil spirit or devil.”

The tech giant removed the definitions altogether after Breitbart News requested comment on the company’s strange definition.

Breitbart said: "Users on reddit's /r/Conspiracy subreddit were the first to recently notice that when the term 'demon' was typed into Google's Translate system, the first definition that the site returns is 'a police officer.'"

After Breitbart raised the issue, the definitions category changed, with synonyms listed instead.

Breitbart referred readers to an archived version of the results.

Elon musk exposes twitter for being made up of a large portion of fake accounts and bots. It appears most to nearly all of the "users" who "follow" twitters top 10 accounts are just fake hollow accounts or bot accounts.
So it seems twitter is little more than a troll farm for hire.
This is a weird story and it's probably going to get a lot weirder.

 

Johnathon Swift called out this kind of information control back in 1726.

“The business of [the flapper] is to gently strike his mouth, eyes [or ears], with a bladder [filled with dried peas, or little pebbles, on the end of a stick].”

If the subject is worthy of a hearing, the ruler gets a “soft flap on his eyes or his ears.” The subject’s fate, and the ruler’s response, depends on the flapper.

Dude had it nailed even back then....

 

It didn't make any sense 40 years ago.
