Full also , Canada has full Shelves , never checked round size or reloading stuff, but did see brass, FMJ bags, but never looked deeper til this post .

Did a little friendly networking among those I know and trust and was able to score a bunch of the "hot stuff" at reasonable prices to help folks in my tribe who didn't have a chance on their own, or the financial means to make a big enough pile to keep them in the green, so.............
@Seepalaces if you need, convo me, will see if we cant get you a decent supply of the basics, couple small buckets of 5.56 for sure, not sure on the other needs, but I bet we can come up with them if you need!

 

Used a case of one of the scores to make meme to explain the 2020 situation to a couple of folks that keep pestering me. Why is there no ammo for my new gun? Why when I do find a box of 20 is it so expensive? Where can I find bulk ammo now? I suspect you have tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of bullets squirreled away, will you sell me some?

 

My fav gun store keeps behind the counter stuff for those of us who keep his bills paid. I haven't bought ammo this year at all.
Gun store says he has never seen so many black folks buying guns, nor so many buying that had no clue how to even load them. They can purchase 1 box of ammo for each gun they buy.

 

I've thought about doing a search on a regional gun forum to see if I can count the times I urged people to buy AR's or AK's and especially ammunition for their go to weapons when there was a surplus after Hillary lost. I bought as long as I could afford and still wish I had bought more.

Oh yes, I'm hearing all the wailing and gnashing of teeth as people are finding that the ammo shelves are bare. I'm keeping my pie hole shut and family has no idea of what or how much I actually have. The only one who has any idea is the guy who delivered all the shipments from PSA a few years back.

 

Now don't take this wrong guys , plz . The Folks of colour that are purchasing guns , they are not the BLM type are they , they're stand up American folks and are buying them for their family protection ? The gun store should say that there are good gun classes on servicing and knowledgeable instructors he can recommend..

The majority of black people that I know are just trying to get through life like everyone else. The stupidity to embrace socialism and political violence is not restricted to just one race. Also note the VAST majority of violent rioters are young stupid white guys or bitter old white guys.

Just watched an Andy Ngo video where a blockade of white BLM protestors stopped a black woman and told her to turn around and leave. Well, she wasn't having any of that and let them know what she thought! The somebody made the mistake of using the N word on her. HAHAHAHAHA! Biggest freaking mistake of that idjut's life. Funny how many are making the connection between how these enlightened white liberals are using the same tactics as the KKK.

Nationally, Trump is polling well among blacks who have noticed that Trump's economy was delivering the promises that the Democrats were making every election season but then forgetting on the second Wednesday of each November.

Bottom line is that I'm not worried one bit about blacks being increasingly armed. The violent inner city types (all races) we have to fear have always been armed. And violent. I have zero worry about Ma and Pa Kettle being armed regardless of race.

 

Just wish i could find small pistol and small rifle primers.

Thanks folks , many folks of all races I have met are like mine , some imports from the sandbox area I find are user's are there lip is squat , not all , but many .In New Orleans , we were treated so well with the folks we met at the Motel 6 with the family...
Then again I saw a man act like an ASSWIPE to a lady , both coloured , but then I saw a few folks same race stepped up to solve the hurting of the woman . I later thanked the gents at pool side , and we had a great conversation till late in the night .

That wasn't meant in a racist way by either the store owner or myself. He simply stated a fact that I passed along. I live in SC and we get along pretty well down here no matter what color God made your skin. We have a few bigger cities with some of the BLM mess but not much because it generally just does not fly here. Black folks in the gun store is still the exception rather than the norm, that space usually being occupied by us redneck Bubbas. ALL of the black folks I know are scared of what the future will bring just as we are, and ALL of the black folks I know are voting for Trump. Nuff said.

 

I recall gun store owners telling about Blacks that would come into their businesses wanting to purchase single bullets, usually 9mm or .380, and laugh. Also, more and more recent gun purchases by minorities have been for rifles and shotguns, but handguns are still popular. Most Blacks that live in rural settings own a shotgun, and a few have rifles, but long guns are few a far between in urban locals where semi-auto handguns are the norm. I have no problems with lawful and responsible citizens owning weapons, it is their right and mine. I just hope that they didn't learn to shoot from watching movies and playing computer games!

 

Didn't Ocacas' administration buy up BILLIONS of pieces of ammo for the BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, long abouts 2012????? Anybody recall what all THAT was about??? (As if we didn't know already ;( )

 

It only takes a small amount of extra traffic to turn a highway into a traffic jam. Gun sales almost doubling this year means additional ammo sales. Not all of those new gun owners buy like preppers, but those couple extra boxes each buys turns an easy supply into a shortage.

Also, keep in mind that there were production stoppages and slowdowns for the materials used to make the components. IMO we are six months away at a minimum from anything approaching normal. Between now and then I see 5.56 possibly hitting a buck a round before it eventually goes back down to 50 cents, perhaps 40 cents. 30 cents and lower will likely never happen again.
