Well I was glad to run into someone at the IRS today who didnt know they werent allowed to do their job and help me out. One of my employers from last year was my buddy who is dead and the accounting company that handled sending me the W2 for it didnt fill in his employer ID # and the first 4 people I talked to all told me they couldnt give me the info even from my papers they were sent last year, even though I had his SS number and all his other personal info and Tina has durable power of attourney with them for him so she can sign for him and so on (she would have had to find her form for that and fax it to them while on the phone with them in order to MAYBE get it). I finally did get ahold of someone who hit a couple of keys on their computer and looked it up and gave it to me before they realized they werent supposed to thankfuly. If they hadnt I figured, what the hell, they are to incompetent to know he's dead anyway so was just going to call back and say was him and lost the form with the number on it...could have even confirmed it with social, DOB, mothers maiden name and whatever they needed.

Tech guy just left....said he was out here working on it last night...

Apparently the signal coming from their equipment was too strong and he said that's just as bad as not enough...

So everything I did with my computer was for nothing....

well..other than it is running great now....
