Isn't it Winter??

Supposed to be 78 again today....4th day in a row....

How are you supposed to dress ??????????? I put most of my Summer clothes up ; in the spare bedroom......

I give up......just going to enjoy the warm weather...and be glad it's not cold....But ICE on my windshield on Thursday...and now this??? for 4 days?

So...I cut the crapola out of my finger almost an hour ago....in the sink..on some glass...

Would not stop bleeding...butterfly wouldn't work....

Ever try to do lidocaine, & 3 stitches on yourself? With one hand...Fun...


I managed....it...and am now under the influence of some pain meds I had here...It hurt like hell, sticking that needle in myself.....but I did it..and that's all that counts....

It's not bleeding anymore..It was pretty deep....(ok...when I pulled it apart? I could see the bone...)

Thank God it is my left hand...and this one handed typing is no fun.....


May I call in sick tomorrow???

Where'd the hell did you get the lidocane????? I looked all over for some and couldnt find anyplace selling it. I want to keep some on hand in case I have to sew on myself. I keep the sutures on hand but havent been able to find any local anastetics I could get my hands on. That REALLLYYYY sucked last year when got an ingrown toenail and had to cut it and yank half of the toe nail out. So like I say, where do you come up with locals like that?

Finger hurts...but I'll be ok...

Slept with the sliding glass doors open upstairs..and had to get up and turn on the AC.....

It is almost 76 degrees inside....no breeze this morning..but can hear the Surf and that is comforting.........

MM? My Dr has been my Dr for 19 yrs....we've been thru a lot together..and he's a real good friend....His nurse emailed me at Christmas and told me it was a honor and a pleasure to be my nurse, AND my friend......Good folks.....

 

CRC, they sound like they are very good people. But on that note make sure you keep an eye on that finger. Last thing you need is an infection.
