Okay somebody mentioned vinegar --- time for me to leave the vicinity. Sorry RightHand but that's a surefire way to start me off on a migraine. Strange because I can eat Vietnamese food and dip it in their sauce - and that has vinegar in it (go figure). But I can't handle the smell of any vinegar food or other type of dressing with vinegar in it anywhere.
I grew up putting vinegar on my potatoes! And since I'm cheap, I use it and baking soda for all kinds of cleaning. Sorry about that TLynn - shut of all sensory memory lest it brings on a big M
I just moved here, we've had over 100 for two weeks straight (less the weekend, thank you.) The locals tell me that there were NO over 100 days last year. Yeah, bring on the snow, I can DEAL with that. Gnats in the pipes? CALLING ALL SPIDERS!!!
yeah ghirt 100 + sucks for weeks we have been 98 to 104 In baker they hit 111 last week when i was there working, im starting to feel like im cooking!
Was thru Baker about 20 years ago. What I remember was the fragrence from the combustion commodes. Ycch.
i just took a 2 hour nap. About time for coffee then some beverages. My wife is going to play the piano tonight for 2-3 hours while I drink on the deck and play with the kids. I bought my 3 year old cap guns.
I finished mowing and weedeating. Now I have to shower and take a trip to town to pick up another feeder and some supplies. then maybe tomorrow morning or evening which ever is cooler we will put up the feeders, load them with corn, then hit the range for a little shooting.
It's been so hot here that I can't go out to work on knives until like 7pm. I hate it! Why people live in this hell-hole is beyond me - I live here because the wife "has" to be here for her kids and grandkids.
It's been a pleasant 103 degrees here today. Actually fairly nice. A bit more humid than I like - I think we got up to say 15% or so (had clouds earlier in the day). But other than that not bad. Yes I'm evil - but truly once you get past 100 who cares...
