Invasion

Does anybody on here know how we are going to deal with the invasion of stinkbugs that is going to occur when it warms up outside in the MD area?

What can we do to stand our ground and fight to stop this insane escalation of fuel prices?

 

This I believe has the potential to be a HUGE problem. They have no natural predators and are immune to most pesticides.

Maybe we can release millions of guineas to eat them...and then eat the guineas!!

 

is scoping worthwhile

I'm scheduled to have both of my knees scoped(arthroscopic surgery). Does this really do any good,cuz I'm sure that eventually I'll have to get them both replaced?

 

Thank god I have all three, Gold in my mouth, Silver in my hair, and today plenty of lead in my hind end.

Life-vs-survival, or vice versa!
The past few days have been such a hassle, I chose to tun off the tv, AFTER I unplugged the phone. I feel a VERY lengthy sabbatical coming on.
Or, I could simply let people get the best of me and have a nice, and well deserved, mental break down!
The harder I tried, it seems the tougher the opposition was.
To those I "trusted" and turned to in my time of "need" ( intelligent conversation ) I was left standing in the cold. I found I can't have such a conversation or even conduct a monologue with my son or his friends.
But then being about 45 years their senior may have a bit to do with that. What bugged me the worst, was the terrible and misguided ( probably well meant) advice I was receiving. "Sell everything you own so you can afford to move". Uh,....not a good thing. But then those with the sage advice, do not even own a car, much less 3 mobile homes, 3 parcels of land, and more than a couple tons of survival equipment and supplies.
Even my oldest son ( detective) tells me to "dump" all my camera gear for whatever the going prices may be....He has NO idea of what he is saying.
Most of the younger generation have little, having not worked for something for most of their lives, and then been told to "dump" it!
For the past several months I have been attempting to get re-located to my northern property. However, "something" always comes up that manages to ruin all the planning and logistics of a move.
Some people just don't "get it" and I doubt seriously many ever will....
One person I was counting on, sent me an email telling me to sell everything I own and to buy 5000 sandbags...
He needs me....
to "build" him, an earth dome home !
That was the last straw!
Maybe it's my age or my demeanor, ?
Yes, I am certainly going to get older and a LOT meaner!

 

Just wait until you see the bugs up here. We have 2 seasons up here, winter and bug. The black flies up here are little no se ems with huge teeth that leave a welt when they bite you.
