LOL! I am the same in many ways. I believe strongly in God, and his word, just don't believe in religion so much. Like man, it is too flawed. I was baptized Russian Orthodox (mostly due to wife and mother-in-law) because I truly thought 'here is a religion that remains true to God's word' but this Ukraine war and the Russian Orthodox church support of it sure showed me that they are the same as all the rest: their religion first then perhaps God's right and wrong. Anyway, I am done with all of them. I am not saying one might not find a nice church that holds true but the institution itself is simply self serving as history has proven time and again.

 

People are what makes God so complicated, at the end of the day we pretty much all believe in the same God just have different names for God and different customs in worship. The less ritual and dogma a culture has surrounding God the more civilized and closer the people seem to be to God. I can walk out of my door and see, hear, feel and smell God all around me. I can thank him every morning for putting things in motion so that the sun rises in the morning and thank him again in the evening as the sun sets and the moon and stars rise. The English Bibles are some of most corrupted translations around. One example "Judge not lest you be judged." The Greek Test which that was translated says something much different "Condemn not let you be Condemned." and when the complete passage is read it put that quote into context. Man cannot Condemn another Mans Soul, only God can do that. You most certainly should be judging for your own families protection and your own communities protection. Page after page and passage after passage of unintentional mistranslations or intentional for the purpose of chaining people and controlling through the Untrue Corrupted word of God. A few bibles that were correctly translated exist but the mainstream churchs loathe and reject themI. I give Islam credit for one thing, they are consistent with their book of perversion as set forth by their Pedo Prophet. Well mostly until you get Shitbites and Soonies together in the same tent, blood shed will soon occure as they argue over the proper way to mount a goat, as there seems to be some confusion on the Prophets teaching goat humping.
