All day here in N.E. Texas

...then sinus congestion kicked in...P.O.'d to the MAX!

Then almost went Postal when I found out that the only decongestant that works for me (Sinutab aka pseudo ephedrine) is no longer available in the U.S.

The only thing that had Pseudo ephedrine was Sudafed. So, OK, I'll get some of that. But where is it in the store? Read all of those neat lookin' little boxes, which ain't easy when one's congested.

Finally asked the pharmacist (where do they get all of these funny talking foreighners, anyway?)

Oh, we have those back here behind the counter. (they used to do this only with condoms, I think...but they were on a big display where all the kids could find em...nice display)

OK, I'll take a box. (of the tablets)

Pharmacist:, but I have to see your drivers license...
Damnation, I'm just drivin home and I don't intend on operating a bulldozer or anything..

Oh, des is controlled, now. Druggies use it to make Meth. Also might make you restless, irritable and increase your blood pressure. (Boy was that an understatement!)

I don't really give a flying rat's ass, I ain't cookin up any meth! I just want to unclog my sinuses cause our friggin Gov't is spraying all of this crap in the air and I can't even see straight.

Pharmacist: Oh, I know you're not...just da law ya know.

Hell, I thought the war on drugs had this stuff under control!

Pharmacist: W/foreign accent, HaHaHa...No, we still have a lot of da people coming in buying this stuff to make Meth.

Hey, you mean it hasn't been outsourced yet? Sounds like one of the few new ways to go into business for oneself. Is it hard to make this stuff?
Oh, not really, says he, but very stinky ( thought about asking him if he'd be interested in a business venture)

Pharmacist: HaHa...You funny man...
Oh, also you have to sign this little UPS thingy.

What!!!...I'm not signing that! I have to use that stupid nasty little crayola lookin marker that SICK people have been using...Do you ever clean that damn thing??? I'll be lucky to not contract some god-awfull disease from the last 100 customers before me...no telling what they all had and now I have a potential soup of goop/disease on my hands that I can take home to wife and family. I don't even like standing in this area...much less TOUCHIN' anything!

Oh, BTW, says pharmacist, you can only buy one box of this a month...
OK...here comes the Irritability and Increase in Blood Pressure. (Expletives Deleted)

Things are really screwed up, folks.

Thousands of illegals crossing the borders daily bringing in who knows what...and I have to go through this B.S for a simple decongestant. Boy am I pissed!

This is the same in Pennsylvania. I watched a lady have to give all her personal information to get the sudafed. Next thing you know we will need to show ID to buy toilet paper...we can't use too many trees up.....build a bidet and be done with TP. F'the.gov
