I had this idea, fantasy maybe, of when I retired and moved back to the US taking a long road trip and visit as many Monkees as I could. I'd swing up through PA and visit George, over to the East to New Hampshire and visit Dee, then dip down to Florida and visit Connie. Even tho we never met face to face, they were family. We were the original tribe that helped create the Monkey tree. But alas time waits for no man. One of the few regrets I have in my life. Would have been an awesome trip.
You could always come visit some of us, who are Second Tier Monkeys… along with Tracy Sunshine, Quigley Sharps, and the Supreme Monkey, Melbo… but you had better start planning, or a few more of us will be gone as time marches on…
I've met quite a few monkees over the years. Still a few more I'd like to. You and the ones you mentioned. Except for Melbo, LOL. We've met. Camped together at Knob Creek. That would be a good trip. Might make it sometime. Hopefully before we lose anymore of the tribe.
