Teens March to Smith & Wesson in Springfield

I don't know about others here. But, I'm with 'em!

After the march on S&W to stop those dangerous weapons from killing so many crimin- err, misguided citizens, we will march on the nearest utensil plant, to prevent the manufacturing of all those dangerous forks, spoons and butter knives. We can't have those instruments of murder loose. After that has been achieved, it is on to automotive manufacturers. We will stop them from making killing machines that needlessly murder thousands of people each year!

 

Anything they can do to distract away from that illegal brutally killing that white girl.

Remember if you report a suspicious person because they appear to have violent tendencies, make threats and so on and they are only threatening a school, office building, hospital or other soft target remember to be sure to take some creative liberty when reporting and maybe add a not too specific threat to law enforcement in there some where.
If you want anything done about it.
It seems like they analyze the threat, make sure military and law enforcement are clear and then leave them alone.
If the perp is making threats against law enforcement it seems like something usually gets done about it.

 

So these millennials were eating soap, then pretended to be gun experts, then went back to eating soap, blew condoms out their noses and are now dancing beside their cars as the car rolls along on a public street and getting ran over by other cars....

I am going to have to agree they probably aren't mature enough to own a firearm until they are 21, or drive or vote or otherwise be responsible for them selves.

 

So glad you asked that because I asked myself the same thing. Do these kids really think marching to Smith and Wesson is going to have the owners, stock holder and employees have a change of heart on their product? I cannot see S & W giving $5 million to gun research to be used against the company. It seems like non-sense but for some reason these kids think this is the solution. Those kids cannot buy the product and are currently under their parents protection. Their intentions are good but they haven't a clue as to the true problem.

 

It worked when the columbine victims marched on kmart.
Now look where kmart is at.

 

Just a though here, Why don't they march on Remington arms, or Colt, those two have made more mass killing machines then any 5 others combined! How about Springfield arms? Or Winchester Arms, all pretty close to the same area, yet no luvin for those? LOL
Seriously, I bet Remington would give them exactly what they demand, and then some, cause they already sold out america anyway!

 

So they say they're going to walk 50 miles? I'm betting that the little brats will go about three blocks and then have Uber take them the rest of the way.

 

I hope someone gets photos of the idiots climbing on the buses...

 

Some food for thought :
50 miles....
Back when I was in fighting shape and needed to walk many places while carrying a rifle , ruck , helmet and assorted gear for my job...we could do 25 miles in about 7 to 7.5 hours...
So 50 miles would be 14-16 hours or so...
Again when I needed to do this for a living and was in shape with many a road march under my belt....

My point here...
It takes a lot out of you doing 12 , 25 , 50... heck we even did 100 mile road march's over the course of 3-4 days....
We also had lots of practice and did conditioning march's often....

I teach at a high school and most kids just ain't up to this level of activity .

I'm excited. I deeply want more people to understand this upcoming election is a choice between socialism and the bill of rights. Keep marching kiddos! Be sure and break lots of windows and disturb traffic.

I know full what your sayin here, we did a lot of the same. We also had to swim for up to 12 hours, and a 5 mile was a warm up! Treading water for 6 hours while fighting off hypothermia! These kids couldn't even fathom what real men experience daily, nor do they have any idea what real hard men endure to keep this country safe and secure! March on little ones, we hard men will keep you safe!

 

S&W will stop producing guns when GM stops producing cars! Never gonna happen.

 

Are these young people mature enough to form their own ideas and opinions? Or are they parroting what they believe older persons want to hear? No matter what they say, persons that young do no not have enough experience, a well enough developed sense of what they see and hear and what they have been taught to form a real adult opinion. "As the twig is bent so grows the tree" . Even when I was in school ('56-'69) many teachers had a left leaning agenda. And I agree, If these young people don't feel they can be trusted to own a firearm, then they should show enough restraint not to acquire any. They don't realize that when you throw away a right it is almost impossible to recover it. How does one go about getting through to them. Or is it a case of "to an unbeliever no explanation is sufficient, to a believer no explanation necessary" . My niece has two foreign exchange students from this year. One from Norway, one from Germany. Neither girl has ever touched a firearm, let alone fired one. Both girls want to learn to shoot a little bit, at least how to be safe. At least they show an open mind about the subject. I hope the girls have a positive experience makin' noise and punchin' paper.

 

What I'd really like to see is about 500 truancy officers start grabbing up these kids. How many of these marches are during school hours...and how many have already exceeded the maximum absenteeism allocation required to graduate?

Oh, that's right...no one cares about actually educating any more.

These kids have no concept of the realities of the real world, they get to see a small glimpse of it in school if lucky, but no practical experience to go with it! They see the world through childish eyes and have childish views! As such, how can any one expect them to have an informed and intelligent opinion on any thing, let alone something as deep and complex as what they are protesting! They have no idea what the 2nd is about, what it means and represents, and they don't understand the cost because they have yet to be made to pay it! Ask any of them to go serve their country for 4 years, potentially having to fight in a conflict no one can understand, come home maimed or missing important body parts and a damaged spirit, and then ask them what their rights mean to them! Ask them how they feel about taking away a innocent persons rights in the thinking that some how that will make the world safer for them. Ask them why a tool is blamed for the actions of a fractured person, and why punishing the rest of society will fix the problem!

 

I don't remember what happened with Remington. Could you, or anyone for that matter, please explain this to me?

 

The long and the short of it, Remington got too big for their britches, sold out to ATK then Freedom group, swooped up several other companies, and then destroyed it all in the name of pure profits at the expense of reputation and quality! Now that dosn't sound all that bad right? What sold us all out was the absolute refusal to address legitimate customer concerns and continuing to toot their own horn as being the best there is! I could go on and on, but won't! Lets just say, the legendary Mod 700 and 870 are nothing but way over priced JUNK worth less then the scrap price of the materials their made of!
