    I use 100 proof vodka for making tinctures. My most useful is black elderberry tincture which is used as an anti-viral. I order the elderberry negras online and make liters of tincture and store it in amber empty Kahlua bottles. The Kahlua is used medicinally in my morning coffee (ahem, cough, cough).
