So what did you put away this week?

Just now brought home my covered trailer that houses my 4 wheeler. Dad helped me get it fixed up to keep "little red" out of the weather.

 

picked up 50LBS of rice,,25LBS pinto beans,,25LBS of Fiesta 11 Bean mix,,and 12LBS of popcorn. 25 Rds of 12GA 1 OZ Slugs,,25 Rds of 00Buck. 525 Rds .22 LR

 

Paid an extra payment on my truck and got two more boxes of canning jars. Hid a case of Guinness Black Lager (the Mr's fav) and sealed up 4 boxes worth of my favorite tea bags. My herbs are all in full swing so I have sage, oregano, tyme, and rosemary hanging to dry, prob a year's worth. Also got a load of hot house jalapenos from a friend of mine and half are on the dehydrator now to make powdered jalapenos out of. We smoked the other half to make chipolte powder.

Just got bunches of Heirloom type seeds. Sum fer planting this season & sum to save. A type of Butterbean/Lima bean thats yummy, Old Timey Mountain Peas, you can't buy in stores. An couple kinds of Squash. Also met the smartest old man I've ever met. Got 2 hours worth of knowledge from him along with my seeds. Knowledge from his years of farming experience. Lord that Old Man knows A LOT!!! He 85 years old & still going stronger than I am at 35!!!
