ugh, I wish I had my taxes. Im broke and have not near enough of anything. I did get some food grade buckets and will start packing up the bulk dried goods I bought, but Im so behind and need to get some cash to get more. Hope I get to do my taxes soon!

things I found...
pepsi is selling me 15 gallon jugs ( look like mini 55 gallon barrels) for 1.00 for all I want!! I plan to get so many my garage and basement look like blue walls LOL I have to go get them tomorrow and will continue to get them as they come available.
went to CVS and got 20 cans of chicken and beef broths for 50 cents a can, and got 20 cans of Ravioli and spagetti and meatballs for 50 cents a can, ( had them rain check another 40 cans for me and another 40 cans of broths as I bought them out )
got a case of 10 hour burn time candles ,case of large mason jars,6 food grad buckets with lids, got 15 boxes of cereal , 10 boxes of cakes, several boxes of brownie mixes, and 10 64 oz bottles of hawaiian punch that was only 1.00 a bottle! cereal, 1.50 a box. I saved 89.00 at albertsons and much more at cvs!
found my butane at a store way cheaper then I got it on amazon and will be buying another 60 bottles for my stove in the next few weeks.

 

very interesting. Alot can be infered by what and how much people are putting away. Haven't gone through all the posts (Sheat, 74+ pages) but it is interesting to see how far people are in thier preps.
I tell new people to start small, an xtra box of mac & cheese, a few pounds of salt or whatever. Soap, vitamins, asprin, girly stuff. If you are new to the 'survivalist' mentality, start small, start smart.

I took advantage of a few sales this week and bought 4 gallons of unscented bleach, 3 bottles of Lysol concentrate, a toolbox, electrical tape, water weld epoxy, duct tape, 4 tubes superglue, 6 assorted screwdrivers & 8 bars of bath soap.

 

I finally found a hand gun to fit my lil mitt. A Taurus PT709 9mm...SWWWwweeet!
I had to save 2 months but I bought her new, broke her down and cleaned her and am ready to fire!
I'm a happy camper.

 

I found 3 liter clear refillable bottles of Ozarka Spring water @ dollar a piece and bought 30. Went the their other branches and bought 40 more. My main goal this month is water.
Made and load tested some reloads; made 1000 of .308 and .223 and .45.
I found some nice 60/40 insulated long johns, and a pair of issue Marpat pants and shirt.
At my favorite resale shop I found two pair of jeans, a pair of Columbia pants and two Camo hunting shirts with tags still on.

 

You guys are all so far ahead of me. I'm still working on getting together enough for our pantry that we could make it 3 months. Sales are a big help for sure.
