I picked up a portable cutting torch set with bottles at Lowes and a wire-feed welder and an anvil at Harbor Freight. Tools are my thing. I have enough tools to build a small community and maintain the infrastructure. I have a variety of engines, mostly diesel but am thinking of acquiring a couple of steam engines.
Did I mention that Jim gave me my hearse back?

What's up with the hearse? That has to be the coolest ride around. I should buy it next year when my daughter turns 16. [LMAO]

I have a feeling if I did I would be riding in the back. OSB

Jim decided to retire and I guess the other folks at his condo didn't appreciate it as much as we did. He gave it back to me. My wife isn't real thrilled that its back in the driveway but what the heck? Drove it to the range today, wish more folks had been there to see how they reacted when I opened the coffin in back and pulled out a M14.

More canned goods (beans, diced tomatoes, tuna, etc.)
    Bleach

More supplies to finish up GHB for the wife and I.

We looked at generators, going to buy one in the next week or so.

I want to trade my hearse for a bike; a Harley or a dirt bike.

Put that hearse body on a 4X4 truck chassis - you have one heck of a neat BO vehicle! [winkthumb]

I just put away another couple weeks worth of canned goods. Each grocery visit, I buy extra - it builds up steady and amazingly quickly!

    Makes you wonder....
Is this something that is happening more and more, or has this always been present but due to the Interweb we hear about it more.

    We need a recall sticky

I think we need to have a "sticky" thread that keeps everyone updated on the latest recalls. How 'bout it Melbo?

Re: We need a recall sticky

Well, over the past couple of weeks more canned foods, rice, paper towels, TP, and a few household items.

Also worked on finishing up the 3-day packs for the wife, daughter, and I.

Picked up a generator from home depot last Friday. It was on clearance for $200 off the regular price. I got it ready, and fired it up on Sat, made sure everything worked just fine. Now I'm thinking of getting the adapter kit to allow it to burn LP, NG, or gasoline.

What size generator did you buy? I might need to take a trip to Home Depot.

It's a Briggs & Stratton 5550watt/8550watt. Not the best on the market, but it works. The price was $499.00, reg $699.00
