So what did you put away this week?

Sweetie went to buy yogurt yesterday at the grocery store. She saw the price had gone up 38% and was highly incensed. I told her, "Uh, Sweetie, I can make better yogurt than any of the store stuff using some milk, plain yogurt and my dehydrator." She looked at me a bit skeptical, but I got the stuff, went home, heated and cooled the milk, added the yogurt (at room temp), poured into 9 pint jars and put it into my dehydrator at 105 degrees for 7 h0urs. Got up in the middle of the night, checked them and put them into the fridge. Had some today and it was delicious......and Sweetie said so!

Ordered some ammo online from Target Sports. It's cheaper than at the LGS.

 

Didn't really put away as much as "rediscovered" a couple old coleman white gas lanterns. Picked up a bunch of mantles and made sure they still good to go.

 

picked up 60 toothbrushes this weekend, got a really good deal on them.

 

Picked up some canned goods at Wally World.

 

A Honda lawn mower with about a 7hp engine, three gascans (2 with gas) two sets of 3x6' metal shelves for the pantry, a kickass weedwhip, another 20lb propane tank (full) and a 6'a frame ladder. Also fed a few 1lb bottles of propane off a 20lb bulk tank.
Also pucked up a portable doghouse hunting blind, and a hang on deer stand.

They have many names, and are even converted into "mudmotors" for swamp boat use. I am more than 50 and in Ohio.

Finally, machined the 151 rims to fit the M38 Jeep. Then a set of 10 ply tires and finished the front suspension install. Next week it'll be the back suspension and then new brakes all around with all lines replaced and all cylinders. Nice to have another 4 wheel drive on the place.

So yes I "put up" /put on 5 new tires and all the other work.

 

was in Dunham's Sporting Goods and spotted two 50 rd boxes of Remington/Elly EPS match 22lr. Snatched em up and took them to the register. The 19.99 a box was steep, but well worth it for the Elly ammo.

 

picked up a reel of paracord, couple of firestarters, some candles and some more ham radio gear
