So what did you put away this week?

These are more pure fun than any gun I have.

I have 2 of them, and with all the guns I have had around here in the past, those 2 were the ones everyone wanted to play with. They are also easy to stash away, one lives on my wife's side of the bed and the other resides in a laptop case that is usually in whatever I am currently driving...

 

I got a little battery operated Dorcy lantern(4 AAs) at local thrift store for $3. Works great, puts out enough light to make a whole room visible. Works great when I go out to the woodpile after dark, because I can set it down and have my hands free to get the firewood. And I can open it up and replace the bulb if need be.

 

Score... A Stoger pellet rifle and 3500+ .177 pellets for $25.00 at a yard sale...

 

I received the bow strings for my 45# Bear fiberglass recurve bow. Strung it, and Immediately found why it had sold so low. Structural fracture mid lower portion of bow. I doubt it is repairable. Bah Humbug !!!

Oh and I forgot to mention in my last post that this morning I put away the bumper crop of bolete/porcini 'shrooms. Wanted to make sure they were dry enough first. This year's harvest filled up a 1.5 pint jar and a .5 pint jar. Considering they're dried, that's alot more than people would think They will last a while too, since we usually buy fresh ones at the storm to use all the time. Oops store, not storm. Good morning!

 

Defenitly would make an exelent addition to any outhouse!!
