So what did you put away this week?

Just my 2 pennies but I've had bad luck with stihl bars recently, the nose sprocket disinegrated on two seperate bars, one of which was only a few months and cords in. I love my stihls but have replaced the bar with a winsor, its not a pressed bar and the sprocket is greasable, when I wear out the others I'll go with the windsor as well.
Picked up some new snares last week.

 

My normal 10 food items/supplies weekly. Sharpie markers are my friend. No more trying to find expiration dates- they are boldly written on the side for easy reference.

 

Repaired an oil lamp to functional status, bought some hurricane oil lanterns, spare parts for same, and a couple gallons of lamp oil.

 

I too repaired a lamp. Coleman white gas pump up, is now fully functioning, added a reflector to two lanterns. lots of replacement mantles.

 

County is replacing a culvert next to my house. Got 20 yards of reclaimed gravel on the drive way to the barn and saved them a 20 mile round trip to the dump site. All For free, Im sooo helpful.

 

Bought a couple video games and a 48oz canister of Ghiradelli cocoa mix from Amazon yesterday, as well as doing our monthly grocery shopping which included 35lb meat pack from local butcher shop. Today I'm gonna inventory everything so can plan shopping for next month. I wanna as much as possible to see us through the winter cause I think it's gonna be a nasty one, and don't wanna go to town if I can avoid it.

 

25 Swedish surplus G3 (AK4) standard cap magazines. I don't have a G3, but you never know And they were cheap and in working order. Might put 'em on ebay or find someone to trade.And yeah, a couple of 25 litre water-bags from the same surplus store. Might come in handy, and I wanted to try and brew beer in a bag after seeing a prison movie where they did just that.

 

Got moma 3 boxes of 32 S&W longs for her new belly gun. Also picked up a set of dies. Transplanted some okra plants, picked some beans and bell peppers from the fall garden.

 

3500 bricks... building a new storage area with brick, block and 4" of concrete...

 

Scored some free shelving. 3' wide by 1' deep. An entire Conex box full if I want them. The basement will never be the same.

 

Got a new source for ammo, packed away 500 rds of 9mm and 1k of .22. Wife got the caning stuff out, gonna be busy next weekend.

 

1000 ft. 550 cord and a few new acquaintances who are in to prepping... who knows they might be future monkeys

 

A mantle clock, 80 ft of tower sections, cleaning off the garden for a fall/winter crop.

 

I'm trying to put away 10 acres of God's country but the broker that owns the property currently is a dolt.
