Since when was a pound 12 ounces?

This is just the start. Tuna was in 6 oz. cans, now it's 5 oz. for the same price.
Some brands of the mac and cheese that we like have less pasta in them, used to serve 4, now 3 1/2 servings in the box. The big block Hershey chocolate bars-the same size if you measure in two dimensions, just thinner and lighter for the same price. And the groceries that are not shrinking in size are getting more expensive by the week.
