Secret Service Agent opens fire in Georgetown

Oh, the Castle Doctrine is alive and well here in SC too, but here is a likely scenario for killing someone over stuff:
You WILL be arrested and taken to detention until the crime can be investigated and you are cleared of wrongdoing.
It WILL cost you money unless you're dumb enough to not hire an attorney.
You LIKELY will be the defendant in a civil suit brought on by the victims family.

I sat down a while back with a good friend who is a criminal defense attorney, and he opened my eyes. It just does not happen like on TV.

 

I worked hard for my "STUFF" and no one has the right to take my "STUFF" yes SC has the castle doctrine and if you try to steal my STUFF I will do my best to make it look like you were breaking into my castle when I kill you. You will never get back what these shits steal the police are useless and don't give a shit about your stuff and neither do the courts. Insurance is nightmare to deal with and never covers what is ripped off. Ask yourself why should I have to pay to have my stuff protected from these SOBs in th the first place.

You think your going to be arrested? Tell em your having chest pains, Free ride to the ER.
This gives you time to get an attorney and out of the clutches of the law dogs who secretly just want you to shut-up!

 

Castle Doctrine is good, but many States, including Alabama are Stand Your Ground States. That means that as a gun toting law abiding citizen, I can defend myself, family, friends, co-workers, and even complete strangers anywhere I have a legal right to be, and that goes for property too! Also, I do not have a duty to retreat! That means don't mess with me, mine or our property at the mall, Walmart, at church, on a street downtown, the bank, at work, etc., etc.! I might not shoot someone that's "stealing" someone else's property, it could be a repo man recovering a car, and I'm sure not going to shoot someone for petty theft in Walmart, but I can call them out and demand that they stop or explain themselves, which it would be in their best interests to do! The sight of a gun in hand tends to bring out the fight-or-flight mode in people, run and I will most likely let you go otherwise...

 

About 10 years ago, my BIL was working the nightshift in our family business when a man tried to rob the store. My BIL drew one of the store guns and fired three shots, all shots were through and through to the torso, and the man died on the parking lot. BIL called the police and the EMTs from a nearby fire station were there in minutes. I was working at another store when he called me, I closed the store and drove across town, but had to wait outside the police-lines until the CSTs had finished processing the scene. I was able to speak with my BIL briefly before he was taken to the police station for processing and stayed in the store to clean up the mess...those CSTs leave a mess. One hour later, I went to the police station to pick-up my BIL, there was no bail and definitely no jail! The police told him and me that unless there was evidence to the contrary the shooting would be ruled justified. They also told both of us that he was a damn good shot and wished that half of the police officers could shoot as well under stress. My BIL was upset and nervous, but I told him that the important thing was that he was going home to his family. The DA was a friend of the family, and we attended the same church, so he assigned the case to an assistant DA, but he told us that he didn't see any problems and that my BIL was a damn fine shot. After what seemed like FOREVER we got word that the grand jury had ruled it a justified shooting. I know that it bothered my BIL, and I hope that I can live the rest of my life without having to kill anyone.
Both the police and DA told me that that if you are in your place of business, employment or home pretty much ANYTHING you do, within reason, will be ruled justifiable...at least in normal places like ALABAMA!

 

Stand your ground should be the law of the land

 

And then you have states, cities, counties that have corrupt/dishonest/communist prosecuting attorneys and they don’t give a damn about the law or the Constitution and they hate guns (at least in YOUR hands) and their entire goal in life is to put the honest citizen in jail to terrify the rest of the sheeple into compliance with whatever they deem as right.

 

It used to be the law of the land!

 

I'm a member of the NRA and read their magazine America's 1st Freedom, in all of their magazines there is a column the Armed Citizen about ordinary people that use their guns to prevent crimes or to defend themselves, others and property. Many accounts are from States like Texas (a lot from Texas), Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and other Red States. However, many are from States like California (go figure), Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Washington, Oregon, New York and other Blue States. A lot of times it depends upon the part of the state you live in, but in most small cities and towns, and rural areas charges will not be filled against a law-abiding citizen doing what is right...even in Blue States. I encourage all of you to join the NRA, GOA, or a similar organization to protect your rights. If you "live" in an area that is hostile to gun ownership and the legal use of guns, consider moving or at the very least get insurance to cover your legal fees and civil liability. Also, recognize that local elections are as important as state and national elections. You need to really care about who is running for DA and Sheriff, more so that Govenor, Congress or President!

 

First border state governors have got to put the state police, militia, and deputized citizens on the border and stop these illegals by any means needed. Yes it is a federal job to protect our borders but they have failed. let the fed take it to the Supreme court if they rule in favor of the feds the states tell them go pound sand what are you going to do send federal troops. PR nightmare or the start of much needed rebellion. Other non border states will follow. Deport all illegals --drop them on the other side of the fence and they can make their way back to wherever they came from --they got here on their own they can go back on their own. Public hangs will put a stop to this I agree. Quick and speedy trials no more of endless stays plea deals tried within 6 months.
