I'd appreciate it if you guys would mention me to the Boss. I'm dealing with some heart issues and some other stuff. Thank you.
Well the Father in law just went in for emergency surgery and dialysis. His kidneys seem to not be working. Any prayers for surgeons success and a good outcome would be appreciated. Also for my safe travels to Chattanooga and back would also be appreciated.
@VisuTrac Kneemail inbound for you and your family. I know that you will be the pillar of support during this very hard time for him and the rest of your family. @GOG sorry I missed hearing of your troubles. I hope that they are behind you.
I have not been vigilant in monitoring this thread. I started it many years ago. I am a firm believer in the power of prayer. I'll make a point to go back and read past posts and will be offering my prayers for each of you. Thank you to all who have kept this thread alive these many years.
Thanks everyone. Made it there an back without actual incident. Lots of near misses but kept safe driving distance. Post-covid drivers are not the same anymore. There are a lot of aggressive and/or people that forgot how to drive out there nowadays. Note to anyone needing to take I75 through Cincinnati. Don't. Take the 275 bypass. East or west it don't matter, take it. You'll thank me later. FIL now requires dialysis every other day. Not sure but unless he starts eating right and doing fluids without being told repeatedly, this may have been his last summer. Time will tell if he decides to stick around to keep us supplied with cat memes or not. Again, thanks for the prayer wings. Much appreciated.
We had to put our Great Dane Lola down yesterday. She came down with a sudden case of bloat and we rushed her to Vet ER. During the x-rays, they confirmed she had bloat and a mass in her stomach and liver indicating cancer. We ended up having to call it... due to the prognosis. Heaven has a new guard dog, which requires biscuits in the AM and a large dog bed to sleep in at night. RIP LOLA!!!!!!
Prayers YD, Beautiful Great Dane, Our fur family just don't live long enough. I doubt Belle makes it thru the winter with her cancer, But we fighting it !
