Portable wood stove for emergency heat? In house, safe, possible?

    Be very careful using Coal or Carbon, as a Fuel Source, on an Inside Burner using only Inside Air.... That is a prescription for CO Poisoning....

    Remember fire is a living breathing thing, fuel/energy and air.

    I have seen antique stoves with side walls of tin but the top and base ,frame and door were cast iron .
    What ever you build ,anticipate accidents and secure the stove and pipe in the event of earth quake or other accident in the structure.
    Few people consider this, and when disaster occurs the lack of preparation ,BITES THEM.
