Having lived three blocks from the rodeo grounds some years back, a pinch is optional, beer is a must..
I've heard the same of us trying to cross south...granted not to the chasis. It's all about excuse to search and seize. It's all aboot conditioning you to accept their authority. I love doing business with 'mericans...but not when we get scammed or leveraged into giving you a better deal than we give our own people. (ie - oil and grain) While I gripe and moan aboot 'merican export of police state...it's true enough. U think they had retina scanners before you invaded iraq? U think we had anything comparable to your "Patriot Act" prior to 9/11? Well we do now....and we weren't even attacked!
I lived to the North in Billings for a couple of years... We would do the Red Lodge loop over Beartooth and drop into Cody and visit the Stampede Rodeo over the 4th.... loved that party. Cheyenne was fun as well!!
Said that patriot act was nothing more than an fed overtaking of our rights.. Still sputter some about that, but not some red in the face!
It's not a slap in the face bro....we're mostly going down there for cheap beer/smokes and government cheese....above and beyond that....there are more legal immigrants from Canada crossing the line than there are natural born Canadians. Ask anyone in Bellingham what they see for Canadians at Costco and Walmart....it's 70% Chinese, Hindi, Philipino and Persian (that's Iran) landed immigrants crossing the line to get cheaper goods. If I was a yank...that might concern me a bit. Just sayin
Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair The liberals here have been tryin to close it down for years.... It's cruel to animals dontchyaknow? Personally...I think it's a whole lotta fun and I guess I'm a huge meany cuz I like the taste of horse meat too!
I put your unbroke horse in the ring with me.....i'ma dam well bite his ear and trot him out proper! (lie and ego but lol)
Maybe. Run into some bikers from up north frequently. All as pale as can be! Spent a night up in Troy Mt. at a bar partying with some beefy gal's that came south for the Yaak river run..
If u been to Yaak u shoulda drank with the railroaders instead of the bikers....and brought your fishin pole!
Psure if they think your from Montana you'll get treated ok....but if yer sporting Cali plates...uhhh...
Folks from Cal have come and have run away enough that folks just smile and node their heads knowingly at them..
