    Labelling cables saves considerable inconvenience.....I should do it more often.

    Now if the 3 bears had only just labelled their beds "too hard", "too soft" and "just right", it would have saved Goldilocks a lot of time finding the right bed, and it would have saved momma bear the effort of making 3 beds instead of just one. Just sayin' ;)

    UncleMorgan I like peeling bananas and (occasionally) people.

    Suggestion: Use clear straws and print the labels on plain paper. Trim the labels, roll them up on the cable, and then slide the pieces of straw over them.

    Use a small rubber band at both ends to keep the straw + label from migrating if needed, but a properly-sized label would wrap around the cable enough times to fill the straw up and friction would probably hold everything in position very nicely.

    EZ , cheep, and reusable.
