While I don't have personal experience with the type of system you're describing, I can recommend some brands known for their quality and reliability.
One popular brand is Vivint wireless security cameras, which offer wireless security cameras with remote viewing and motion detection features. Another option is Swann, but it has fewer features. I suggest researching and reading reviews to find the system that fits your needs and budget.

While I haven't personally installed one like the ones they have in prisons, I do have experience with home security cameras. I've heard good things about the Nest Cam IQ Indoor, which allows you to view multiple rooms with a 130-degree wide-angle view and has advanced features like facial recognition. Another option is the Arlo Pro 3, which has a 160-degree field of view and is weather-resistant, making it great for outdoor use. You can also check out Residential Security Services at for more information on how to keep yourself safe. Ultimately, it depends on your specific needs and budget, and good luck, and stay safe!

I like our Lorex systems. They are hardwired because our forest is thick and wireless signals won't work, here.
You can set up a camera as far as 1,200 feet from the receiver/NVR. Just use a ethernet switch every 300'. Run an 18 gauge direct burial wire to the camera if you are going to go farther than than 300', and run a power adapter to each of those cameras. Be sure to use dielectric grease on connections. The silicone type seems to be the best.

My brother does wired cameras fed into one monitor "not wireless".
These cameras have recorded perps jumping from back yard to back yard attempting to evade the police.
My brother simply handed the cops the chip and they had picture proof.
    Cameras pay off.
He also has a motion sensor that alerts him in front of his house if one walks up his driveway. There is no sneaking around his house.
