High school coach used a paddle with holes in it, while your coming out of the shower.

 

I remember hearing Grandma yelling "Go out and cut me a switch so I can beat you!" I was happy when it was directed at one of the other kids. It was even worse if you came back with a switch that was too small. Then it was time to keep out of sight, and listen to what happened next.

 

We would bring mawmaw rotten ones that would break on the first lick

She was to the point she didn't have time to wait for a switch.
My Mom didn't have time to wait for one one time and used a hair brush ,, I don't know what that hair brush looked like but that was the most black and blue tinted colors my ass has ever seen . A few days later we were visiting the grandparents , my grandma was helping me change my britches , seen my ass , and asked me what happened ? I said I fell down skating . My Mom heard that and said , you'll get another one if you keep lying . That was one of my last lies.
