Being armed doesn't necessarily equate with being effective at using that firearm....the firearm may be just as dangerous to oneself, and non perps as criminal threats.


I would not have said, "proof", but certainly, evidence.

 

Being disarmed, however, does mean that you will not have an arm available to protect yourself, your loved ones, and others. It guarantees that in the presence of armed violent criminals the best possible outcome is to be robbed. Other possible outcomes include rape and murder. When banning firearms doesn't work they ban knives. When that doesn't work they ban anything you can use to defend yourself they ban kitchen implements, gardening tools, and screwdrivers. What needs to be banned are the folks banning your ability to defend yourself.

 

An old one, but still cracks me up every time.
