I’ve posted a video of my 3 man crew before but some may have missed it.

 

The day after every event that results in downed power lines is lineman appreciation day. These guys go out in the worst conditions and work around the clock until power is restored. They probably save more lives (considering home medical equipment) than anybody outside of first responders and the ER.

 

When we would see them coming to restore power on our road, we would go out cheer and yell thank you. Your post makes me think we probably should have offered food and beverage also.

 

This one is serious. It’s my best pole top rescue time.

PIC - Pilot in Command, a woman - not unusual, but this one is a former Navy Fighter pilot.

The audio shows a calm, confident voice. I guess after slamming your F/A-18 onto a flight deck at night, in bad weather and still snagging the #3 wire, this would seem, I dunno, almost tame...?

This once again shows, just like with Scully (US Airways Flight 1549) - nice to know a Vet is at the helm....
