He knew he was gonna be alright. The boss was really confident it would work and didn't put down a plastic sheet on the unsealed concrete floor.

 

That's the owner of the company behind the glass and one of his managers who happens to own an AK.

It's crazy how many times our plumbers report other trades doing crap just like this on jobs. It's a wonder half the houses are still standing 10 years later. HVAC guys are the worst. They'll just cut plumbing out of the way...after it's pressure tested...and inspected... Their bosses hate getting that call. I'm not nice about their knowledge in their field, nor their ability to train others. They get pretty defensive and whiny. Those are actually good days! Maybe I'm a jerk. maybe I don't care...

 

As kid working construction apprentice under my dad ,I hated working with other older men that didn't know what they were doing that or drunk/hung over on the job . They tripled the cost of reworking and because of my age no one would listen to me.
Was so happy after I started pursuing other trades.

 

Hella good time to ask for a raise...
