When I was growing up, I always had choices for dinner



many would consider going hungry a non-choice however....


I don't think I need to add the "Or else..."

 

When mother wants an O that way....father will eat it and like it!

Don't worry. I kept looking for a box of 'Scratch' at the store. Mom always claimed to have made everything from it....

 

There are some people who, when they invite you over for dinner, cause a bit if a pause. Coming up with a polite way to decline does take time....

 

I remember as a schoolboy that lunch swapping was a workable solution to food fatigue....many a cheese, salami, and gherkin sandwich was swapped for peanut butter or vegemite sandwiches....better to take it and swap it, than leave it and go hungry.
