I often get asked - What gets manufactured in Alaska? Well, so many politicins are so full if shi...stuff, there is quite the market for movable outhouses (Eagle Ak, a legit pic)


some people are concerned about spiders while using an outhouse. Here - it just doesn't seem to be a problem


During the summer, the extra light makes reading the Sears catalog a bit easier....

 

It's bad enough when a trip to the bathroom involves a lantern and your snow boots - but when you have to take along a shovel.....

Not only has a wood stove, but also has a lightening rod atop the building. (Note, this is still skid mounted.)


ANd of course, recycling is a big deal eveywhere....Gives a new meaning to being sh!t-faced I suppose.....

 

Fear not Tourists, the State has everything covered with the most modern of facilities.

I was looking at Real Estate ads for Arizona.... This, apparently, is what passes for a fixer upper.....it is brick construction.

When you ask about ro talk with folks about a "Garden Shed" most of us think of these:

plastic or metal sheds, mostly from big box stores, and that is where the mower etc rot during the winter..

Then, we have these "Garden Sheds"

very British, they are quite keen on 'Garden Sheds"
