Had to go out quarterly to perform safety and heath inspections. While there checked contracted radio maintenance activities. Now all contracted out. Facilities got upgraded - seems civilians won't live in FedGov squalor. Imagine that.

 

But it's cheaper to hire contractors... Contractors can hire and fire at will, problem is they have no will, Government can't tell the contractor to fire one of it's employees, so they get moved!!!

Yeah contracting out saves money. What it really saves is the people don't see the real size of Government.
