Happy ending today in Texas. No employee had to die.

Conroe police tell Eyewitness News that the men entered Jeff's Jewelry on Highway 105 and demanded money, jewelry and purses. One of the store employees drew a weapon and at least one (of 4) suspect opened fire.

Multiple employees then returned fire with their weapons, killing one of the would-be-robbers just inside the store's entrance.

The other three fled in a white Dodge Charger, which was recovered not far from the store.

 

I rarely wallow in envy - it is a worthless activity after all, and a bad habit to fall into...but sometimes I'll admit to a bit of glass jealousy
