Only in Louisiana will you find a casket tied to a tree.

 

They will float like a boat and come right out of the ground. Good idea tying it to a tree. Someone will be looking for it when the water goes down. Sad sight, even the dead aren't safe.

 

When you live in Lafayette La and your wife is expecting a package from Amazon.

 

I once drove home in water that was also up to the rear views in my old truck. I have no idea how that thing didn't flood out. Took me near two hours to make a 15 minute trip.
I kept passing/getting passed by these people goin' visiting in their john boats, and I had to look up at them. I don;t think I'll ever forget the looks on their faces!
