I think that there are regulations in, effect prohibiting public endorsement that would prohibit Cpl Klinger from accepting an invitation to speak at the DNC, even if invited.

Why would the Democrat party bother inviting Cpl Klinger, to speak at the DNC when they could have Senior Chief Petty Officer Kristin Beck USN (rtd) Meet Kristin Beck, a transgender former Navy SEAL running for Congress

 

My thoughts exactly. WTF does any LEO agency need with belt fed MGs while private citizens for the most part are denied ownership? If it's that bad on the Rio Grande why isn't the Coast Guard in charge of patroling?.

 

Does the Coast Guard patrol any inland waterways? Cartel's hardly qualify as private citizens, of the US anyway.

 

They are on the Great Lakes.
I wasn't referring to any Cartel. My question was why is it ok for the cops to have select fire/belt fed full auto MGs and yet the vast majority of US citizens are denied them.

The Texas Highway Patrol recently added a fully-armed patrol boat to help officers secure the Texas-Mexico border.

The thirty-four foot powerboat is armed with six .30 caliber machine guns set in four different firing positions.

To help protect officers, state trooper Erik Burse, said in a guided tour of the boat, that the “front area here will be lined with bulletproof glass.”

The patrol boat comes as part of the Texas Highway Patrol’s newly created Marine Unit, which will have a total of six customized boats.

The Marine Unit will be stationed throughout southern Texas primarily along the Rio Grande, with a mission of preventing drug cartels from smuggling their goods across the border.

Most recently an American tourist was killed in Falcon Lake by drug traffickers as they were crossing.

“It’s an area that the Zeta drug cartels are notorious for bringing drugs into the United States across that lake at night,” said Representative Ted Poe (R – Texas). “This will help stem the tide of the Zetas coming into the US,” he said in reference to the patrol boats.

Our mutts get taken to to river & ball time with swim & wash , critters get the water board of the sprinkler , & they all play !! cows & pigs get the hose & rubs as I become soaked , but the game is all fun for all .. water is needed for growth and life , harvested last winter , will grow , cool & evaporate so others may use !! @Motomom34 .
