Abbott doubles down: Texas Governor will sign a bill today banning all transgenders from using public restrooms in Texas. (The author of the bill) Riddle says “If a man can’t dress and act like a man, he can use the restroom at home.”

 

The answer is in virtually every public accessible building - simply use the single occupant "family" restrooms available virtually everywhere. This is just a red herring non issue to keep our attention away from something significant that's going on.

 

Meh....these bathroom bills are just a knee jerk reaction by some social/religious conservatives losing the battle with same sex marriage. A rash of Republican governors and legislators are passing bathroom laws, as if they are still viable combatants in US society's culture wars. Those laws too will be struck down as unconstitutional, which will only serve to further make the reactionary right, even more irrelevant.

May be true, but if we get the right federal judge, it will postpone it until the SC hears the case. Perhaps by then this country will get a clue. Abbott could not care any less about what the Justice Dept. thinks.
