Don't worry about it....Bears don't climb trees...

 

Given that that stand is no more than 12-15' off the ground, and the weight limit is about 300lbs (far less than it's current load) I expect any quick movement to result in one very angry bear at ground level in about two seconds after it decides to get interested. Unless he breaks something vital in the fall, I don't intend to be close enough to witness the second bounce.

 

The bear is probably still in a lunch coma after eating the previous occupant of the stand... Flatlanders are easier to catch so all you need are black bears to catch one.

 

Hey, don't be a buzz kill, That would be un-bear-able.

 

Just keep your 38 special and folding knife handy and you'll be OK...
