When the original “One Piece at a Time” promo Cadillac was crushed and, as the builder quipped, “probably turned into a Nissan,” another man saw an opportunity. Bill Patch of Oklahoma used his automotive know-how to build his own one-piece-at-a-time Cadillac and put his little town of Welch, OK on the map- Man in Black style.

(This Johnny Cash Cadillac built up a small town...One piece at a time | Roadtrippers) pretty cool story and shows Mr Cash was a regular guy as well.
