I think the More Rungs department must have been one of Donald's failed free enterprise business ventures....that, or he relocated the More Rungs Making Division overseas so that the rungs could be manufactured by sweat labour more cheaply to maximise corporate profits.

What the cartoon at the top fails to demonstrate is that US governments (particularly GOP ones) tend to provide step ladders, rather than rope ladders.....and the tallest step ladders tend to favour the wealthiest 20% of the US population. Is it any great surprise that the poorest 20% get the shortest step ladders??? Tax cuts don't benefit the lowest 20% as much as the 80% above them in higher tax brackets. Free enterprise manufacturing "freedom" rope ladders??? Only if there is a profit to be made by it, which possibly explains that investment will favour what is best for the investors, not what is best for those subsisting on food stamps. The wealthiest are more than happy for the government to provide their wealthy @$$e$ with the highest step ladders that the government can buy for them. It also explains the diversion of "freedom" rung making profits to tax havens, rather than to places that are vulnerable to IRS assessment and tax collection. Free enterprise manufacturing "freedom" rope ladders??? It's as plausible as free enterprise sky hook manufacturing.
