Sorry, I have to disagree. I think yours is a bit misleading. The Nazi gun laws were not created so that children could save Hitler's rear end. While Hitler purposefully had his "youth groups" of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed little SS wanna-be's, that was a separate creation, outside of the change in Germany's gun laws after the Nazi Party came to power.

Before Hitler came along, Germany had existing firearm laws--mainly stemming from, but not totally due to, the...Treaty of Versaille, I think, at the end of WWI.
What Hitler did with gun control laws is he made it more difficult for non-Party citizens to acquire/own/carry/use firearms. And, restricted the Jews so severely that they couldn't even carry a stick or small knife.
However, if you were a Nazi Party member, it was much easier to acquire and own a firearm.

All the while, the German people were being riled up in memes of hatred and dissent...and the Jews were being set up as the scapegoat. Simultaneously, the Jews were being told that everything was fine...there's no problem here....just move over there...enjoy the ghetto (that we're controlling...and policing....and starving...)....Here, try this train ride.

Oops...Forgot a couple of things....It's often stated that Hitler "loosened" existing guns laws. This is a typical politician-styled response that only uses part of the truth to paint a drastically different picture that the reality. False logic based on incomplete info. Like Hillary Clinton stating the Founding Fathers were "pro big government". Kinda silly.

I bought that same book when in college like over 3 decades ago. Really like the Hot Fudge Sunday Cake recipe in it. Far from Primal compliant but still good.

Spelling words backward to make intelligible words can be a lot of fun....but some take it far too seriously, writing devotional glurge on the theme.



Spell the German word for dog, hund, backwards, and it won't = gott, Spell most foreign language words for dog backwards and it won't = the word equivalent to god. It's a semantic peculiarity of the English language. Nothing more and nothing less.

Got that one, plus at least a dozen other (smaller) various cookbooks, as well as the newer version of the Betty Crocker. Realized the other day that I had never replaced my mother's 1956 version of the Betty Crocker cookbook that was lost when my rental house exploded (7-1/2 years ago), so off to ebay went I. Replacement ought to be here within the next week. Not as great as having Mom's, with the hand written reminder notes inside, but still....
