One wonders if any oath or vow that the man makes is actually sacred, and could not be broken? Human, and fallible he certainly may be...but reliable and trustworthy??? Possibly not so much. The fact that Petraeus has many medals....and Clinton none, is irrelevant....As far as the FBI, and DOJ is concerned, they'll be looking at things other than awards and decorations when running the fine tooth comb through Clinton's past.

 

I'd take Petraeus at my back any day under any conditions. He's a human being with human imperfections. BFD. Infidelity is between him and his wife. I don't know the exact nature of what was divulged during the pillow talk with his mistress. I don't really care. He was politically assassinated much as was done to the best of US military leadership by this despicable Administration and also out of fear that he would be very electable to the Presidency.

This is all the rise you will get from me from your pathetic attempt at trolling. As always those on the left focus on a single chink in someone's armor while carrying water and making all sorts of excuses for the multiple flaws of others. The good news is that I'm nominating you for the 2015 Survival Monkey Meh of the Year Award.

Well, 3T...I don't question his military competence, and I don't give a rats about his vices or moral shortcomings...his secret affair does make him vulnerable to being subverted and turned by the USA's enemies which IS a security concern, which understandably made his tenure as Director of the CIA untenable. Having lots of fruit salad on one's chest really doesn't compensate for, or excuse the hypocrisy that he also wears...it compromises his credibility as leader, and undermines the culture and ethical credibility of the organisation that he was appointed to lead (Edit: not that the CIA has much of a credit bank in that regard).

As to trolling....I am under no obligation to just silently accept every bit of copy and paste propaganda, simply because it comports to the majority view here. Doing so does a disservice to the site. If what I write is not to your taste...problem belongem you, not me.

 

@3M-TA3 How you got your impression from that post I have no idea and I don't know what "Meh" means so the insult is ineffectual. His transgression was nothing compared to Hillary's private email server arrangement, destruction of government records and intentional mishandling of classified information. The point is, in even refering Hillary's case to the DOJ for prosicution, the FBI wIll, no doubt, insure the next President is Republican, something I don't think Barry will allow, even if he has to give her a blanket pardon. As far as his alleged infidelity, I couldn't care any less. My score on that card is not perfect either.
