The top says Mauser, the emblem on the left is for Algeria, the date is 1329 which would be about 1908. Not sure what the symbol on the right is, may be a symbol for the maker or arsenal it came from.

Duh!! I see the Turkish flag almost everyday. The moon and star is a symbol of Turkey but could also be Algeria or Pakistan. Turkish Mauser makes more sense than Algerian Mauser. Funny that it doesn't have the caliber stamped on it.
