At least we now have a neat (not) new place to go vacation. I have to wonder how this is playing in Miami....

 

Cuban refugees knew they were sold out back in the Clinton administration. I remember watching live Janet Reno's storm troopers using water cannons on peaceful demonstrators, including an elderly woman, during the Elian affair. Sad, they are some of the most patriotic Americans having gambled their lives to flee tyranny.

And my favorite staircase. All stairs should be done like this

 

It is very nice, and playful, but you will curse it severely next time you need to get a double bed or large dresser up those stairs. I had lived with a circular staircase, and most things are easier to pass up the outside of the spiral.

The only window to that loft, was a porthole sized one. Not possible.
And yes, I see the problems people engineer for themselves, everyday.
Imagine a job, where things break, but you have no access at all to the broken parts, because they covered them all up when they built the place. Now fix it, quickly, quietly, and with no mess, while not blocking customers from shopping (it happens to be their only entrance, ) oh yeah, and the original install was not right, and the parts never DID work as designed....now fix it. (Welcome to my world)

This bed is softer, and less distance to fall while sleepwalking....
