I wear the Black Watch tartan or the MacChelloveck tartan, depending on whether I am attending a regimental reunion or not.

I do have images of myself, kilted in uniform...(black and white pictures, dating back to the early 70's) but can't post them directly to an SM thread. Have to go through the rigmarole of opening a photo-bucket account and then importing it to SM from there.

 

Now that's a story begging for an explanation. An extreme case of body piercing obsession gone mad or bad???

No you can upload them here, it's that little camera icon at the top, near the end of the string. It up loads it to here then you just copy the URL and embed it in your post.

A Kilt would be great, but only the true Kilt worn in the true style and used as all weather clothing, sleeping gear and survival gear in one.
I believe the stated size was somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 yards of home spun wool coated with additional lamb oil for water proofing.

 

In traditional style, would place the sporran underneath the kilt, both for warmth and security. (and commando)
